i cannot get to my dA page every day because of my busy schedule and it makes me sad that i cannot thank those who have taken the time out to visit my page or make a comment on something i have said. i wish that the 'powers to be' would make my 'recently visited' list; to be more inclusive.
if for some reason i have not thanked someone or missed your visit... please forgive me. if i had been aware, i would have definately forwarded my gratitiude; for your taking the time.

i think i am in love with this music...

some free time....

it is finally good to have a few spare moments to myself. i had to go stay with my brother in October because he was taken ill with CHF and he wanted me to help nurse him back to better health. i guess i should be glad i had graduated Massage school in June, so i could actually go there and be of help to him. and of course being a Massage Therapist gives me the freedom to make my own schedule where work is concerned.
so, now that i am home and kind of back on track with my life; i thought i would check out the dA site. i am so glad to be back. it feels like coming home. there is so much talent here that it makes my heart happy.

so now...

i have been studying to take my certification exam. it is a test to see how much i actually retained from my classes. more like an accumulation of all the information i learned while attending Massage Arts school. it seems a bit overwhelming. of course, once i take it and pass, i get my certificate to frame and hang on the wall. my biggest complaint right now; is getting up the money to pay to take the test because it is kind of expensive.
such is life in Philly. but i still manage to find time for the fun things i like to do.

I FINALLY MADE IT!!!

I am now officially a 'MASSAGE THERAPIST'. It seemed like it was taking forever; but I did it and I passed all my classes with really good grades... even A/P and Pathology. I have had three job offers since i graduated on June 30th. I took the one that will net me the most money and free time. I also plan on working on clients in private. That is why I have my own table, it gives me the option to make even more money. What other LEGAL profession can make a dollar a minute? Besides I love touching people and mking them feel better. I ordered my cards and am now awaiting them; so I can pass them out.
My next plan is to take SPA classes; so I can do Spa treatments, too.
